Tillmann Tool & Die, Inc. Tillmann Tool & Die, Inc. was established in June, 1976, by James (Jim) and Sharon Tillmann. They started a machining business in their basement and moved to the garage in 1980. Jim worked as a die maker in Waseca, MN in 1965 before receiving his journeyman's card in 1969 from FMC in Minneapolis, MN. He worked as a mold maker in Glenco, MN and Hutchinson, MN before teaching the Tool & Die curriculum in 1973 at the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND. After resigning in 1984 from teaching, he started tool making full-time in his garage before expanding to the current location in 1989 in South Breckenridge. Sharon has been managing the business since operations began in the summer of 1976. Today Tillmann Tool & Die, Inc. has a shop of experienced, qualified toolmakers and designers, that are ready to take on any job that you may have. We are proud of our 100% Vendor rating. Our designers use top of the line CAD/CAM software, and the shop area is continually expanding its equipment list to better serve our customers.
